As a major country along the "Belt and Road", the Philippines is in a stage of rapid economic development, and its demand for electricity is constantly rising. In recent years, the installed capacity of new energy power in the Philippines has been increasing year by year. According to the Philippine government's policy, the country aims to realize 35% renewable energy and 1,528MW of installed PV capacity by 2030. Therefore, judging by the current installed capacity, there is still a lot of room for development and the boom of new energy projects is about to come. To seize the growth opportunity, AKCOME METALS has been highly active in the Philippine market, setting up local sales and service networks to facilitate the forwarding of services and quicker response to customer requests.

Recently, the delivery of AKCOME mounts ordered for the 283MW project in San Marcelino, Philippines, has been mostly completed. In late July, AKCOME METALS will send technicians to the project site to provide installation guidance. It is reported that the project is expected to be completed in 2023 and will become another demonstration PV project in the province.

The project is in the Trin-Trinity province of the Philippines. Due to the special local geological conditions, the project requires a pile membrane of 110um thickness, which puts higher requirements on the reliability and stability of the support systems. However, with strict quality control, AKCOME METALS has delivered its products to a high standard as always.

In the early stage of the project, according to the local situation and the actual needs of the client, our technology team and the EPC jointly proposed to use impact piles on herringbone slopes. The purpose of this plan is to maximize the installed capacity and ensure the maximum return on investment with relatively limited land resources. At the same time, we guided the client to conduct pulling force tests with the mounting products to verify that the piles and their depth are in line with specifications and relevant requirements. Currently, the project construction is in full swing, and AKCOME METALS has specially assigned technicians to provide onsite installation guidance and technical assistance for ensuring the efficient and smooth progress of the project. After the completion of the project, AKCOME METALS will continue to provide consistent on-site maintenance services to ensure the safe and worry-free operation of the power plant.
