Recently, Suzhou AKCOME METALS completed the delivery of matching mounts for smart cleaning robots of the 400MW Red Sea PV power plant project in Saudi Arabia.

Located on the shores of the Red Sea in Saudi Arabia, with leading energy companies from Saudi Arabia and China as the project developer and EPC contractor, this project is a key part of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030, and also the world's first large-scale commercial utility project with complementary integration of multiple energy sources.

Hefei SunPure Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "SunPure") is responsible for providing a total of 1,045 sets of intelligent cleaning robots (the most for any photovoltaic power plant in Saudi Arabia) for the Red Sea project. According to PV investment risk reports, dust is the biggest cause of PV power loss. However, the currently available manual or vehicle cleaning solutions cannot meet the needs of photovoltaic power plants, so intelligent cleaning robots have gradually become the "fourth key element" that plant owners need to consider besides PV components, inverters, and mounts.

In March this year, by virtue of brand and technical advantages, Suzhou AKCOME METALS successfully won the bid to provide supporting mounts for the SunPure cleaning robot project.

In view of the climate characteristics of high temperature, high humidity, and high salinity along the Red Sea coast, AKCOME supporting mounts are made of highly corrosion-resistant materials such as galvanized steel and magnesium-aluminum-zinc steel to cope with extreme climatic conditions. With rich experience in the processing of magnesium aluminum and zinc materials, including providing magnesium aluminum and zinc plated mounts for 6GW and higher capacity large-scale projects, as well as strict and thorough quality control, product testing, and verification procedures, AKCOME METALS can ensure that the mounts provided are of high quality and high reliability.

From the beginning of the cooperation, AKCOME METALS set up a dedicated project team to ensure the smooth progress of project stages from design, and production to delivery, and to meet client needs in all aspects. Through efficient communication and close cooperation between both parties, the project delivery was successfully completed on schedule, fully reflecting the "client first" brand value of AKCOME.

The Middle East where Saudi Arabia is located is characterized by a widespread tropical desert climate, which brings high solar radiation energy and makes it one of the most suitable areas for solar energy utilization. According to a 2021 report by Middle East Energy Dubai, over the next five years, solar projects worth more than 55 billion dirhams ($15 billion) will be put into operation throughout the Middle East and North Africa, indicating great development room and potential of the photovoltaic industry in the Middle East.

This year, through sustained efforts, AKCOME METALS has made a number of achievements in the Middle East market, including winning high praise from partners with its tracking systems. In the future, AKCOME METALS will continue its engagement in the Middle East market, cooperate with local enterprises and governments, and contribute to the development of renewable energy in the Middle East with its professional competence and experience.
